After graduating from the University of Wolverhampton in 1999 with a BA in Media and Film studies Marc began his career in the television industry, working in the props department on a wide range of TV shows such as Foyle’s War and The 1940’s House, as well as pop promos for the band All Saints and various TV commercials. In 2000 he began work as Assistant Floor Manager on the hit CBBC series The Tweenies until the show finished production in 2002. He then went on to work on other children’s TV shows such as The Fimbles for the BBC and Fun Song Factory for ITV. During this time Marc also began touring live theatre shows as Assistant Stage Manager on The Tweenies Live and Noddy Live, which enabled him to not only tour the UK extensively but also take the shows to international audiences. This led to a full move into theatre with various tours for Sky TV’s Brainiac, channel 5’s Milkshake Live and also four back to back productions of CBeebies Live. In 2009 Marc became a Company Stage Manager for the first time on a new production of Milkshake Live. He has continued in this role until the present day, working on shows such as Night Garden Live, Guinness World Records live and Marty MacDonald’s farm. His international experiences include five years working for the Abu Dhabi Festival and many other projects. Marc enjoys working for Mark Thompson Productions.
